On October 12, 2026, Changzhou AEMHY Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. marked its second anniversary with employee health check-ups, a team outing to Maoshan and an evening dinner.
The celebration carried the theme “同舟共济，氢创未来,” expressed in English as “Together, Shaping Our Hydrogen Future.” The Chinese phrase evokes people sharing a boat and helping one another move forward—a fitting image for a growing team.
A day dedicated to health and connection
The day began with company-organized health check-ups for all employees, making personal well-being an important part of the anniversary.
The team then travelled to Maoshan, where clear autumn skies and the fragrance of osmanthus provided a welcoming setting for time outdoors. Away from daily work, colleagues enjoyed relaxed conversations, shared experiences and a group photograph to commemorate the occasion.
A cultural perspective on working together
Alongside its natural scenery, Maoshan offers a connection to Chinese cultural heritage through its monumental statue of Laozi, a central figure in Daoist philosophy.
Chapter 8 of the Dao De Jing compares goodness to water, describing how water benefits others without contention. For AEMHY, whose work focuses on producing hydrogen from water, this offers a meaningful metaphor for how a team can work together: with humility, mutual support and a commitment to being useful to others.
These values have practical relevance in everyday engineering. Developing materials, electrodes, membrane electrode assemblies, electrolyzer stacks and hydrogen production systems requires colleagues with different areas of expertise to listen, exchange knowledge and solve problems together.
