Changzhou AEMHY Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (“AEMHY”) participated in the 3rd AEM Water Electrolysis Academic & Industrialization Forum 2026, organized by ASIACHEM Consulting in Jinan, China.
Albert Liu, CEO of AEMHY, was invited to deliver a keynote presentation entitled “Technological Divergence in AEM Water Electrolysis: Strategic Choices Between Materials and Process Engineering.”

The presentation examined a central issue in the industrialization of AEM water electrolysis: commercially viable solutions cannot be defined by a single material or a single peak-performance metric. Instead, technology development requires coordinated choices across membranes, ionomers, electrodes, porous transport structures, cell architecture, operating conditions and manufacturing processes.
Albert Liu shared AEMHY’s perspective that materials and components must be evaluated within the context of real electrolyzer operation. High performance must be balanced with durability, mass transport, manufacturing consistency and cost in order to enable reliable and scalable AEM electrolyzer systems.
During the forum, AEMHY received the 2026 AEM Water Electrolysis Golden Wing Award – Technical Excellence Award. The award recognizes the company’s ongoing work in AEM electrolysis materials, core components and engineering-oriented technology development.
AEMHY remains committed to developing high-performance, scalable and cost-effective AEM water electrolysis solutions. The company looks forward to working with industry partners to accelerate the commercialization of green hydrogen technologies.
